Ravens Not Pretty, But a Good Win

Ravens do enough to overlook the errors.
Lamar, Lamar!! Hold onto the frickin ball. When you are past the line of scrimmage, first off, you are not fouling anyone out thinking you will throw the ball. You are holding the ball like it's a cigarette and you hate the smoke. You are getting paid a crap ton (and yes that is a measurement) of money, you need to be more responsible with the ball. No longer a rookie.

Ravens Defense is Solid, Injuries...Injuries!

Even without Marlon Humphrey, should get better as the season goes.
OUCH! I'm not sure what the situation is going to be on the OLine, but it doesn't look good. And Dobbins, ugh, just when he says he feels 100% Achilles blowout. I feel bad for him, and it being in the last year of his contract? Not good!
Good news is the Ravens have running backs. I thought Justice Hill (shameless plug, he is a Gramophone client) filled in well.
All-in-all, Ravens should be in the postseason mix this year.

As for the Huskers...Wiping Tears 😭

It's a good thing I was on some serious pain medication for a broken leg (side note if you see a guy wearing a hat and a gown selling Oxy outside of St. Joseph's Hospital, just ignore him...wink, wink 😉)

Deion definitely had the Buffs amped up with a decent strategary against NU.
That being said , WTF: I didn't think NU's offense could be worse than last year, but no bar is too low for us to crawl under.

Huskers Offense

I don't know what the answer is at QB, but Sims better get his shit straight in a hurry, because after No. Ill and LaTech (side note: As I recall, last time we played LaTech was not intimidated by NU) in comes Michigan. And after the Turnover Cornucopia vs. CU, that even LaTech and No. Ill aren't licking their chops?

Prime Channel 🤮

I'm already sick of this Prime Channel BS. Beware CU opponents' fans: Pregame will be all about CU Deion, Halftime you will see Deion with his bodyguards, Two-thirds of the commercials will feature Deion, and I'm pretty sure that after every home game win Students will charge the field.
And Deion, sorry "Coach Prime" your team is undisciplined, and in a close game one of those Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalties will cost you.
So the faster Cuz falls down to earth, the better.
And I know what you are saying, or thinking, sounds like sour grapes. The truth is I loved Deion growing up, in fact I still like him. I just think that he took the train off the rails and it is heading toward Eastwood Ravine (be first to get that reference in comments, I'll send you a Little Ball of Hate T-shirt),
Oh and you heard it here first Deion will be out of Boulder within 4 years.

Now to Baseball! ⚾️

Although the Orioles weren't able to sweep the Red Sox, they still won another series. I have news for all the naysayers and the doubters: Bmore isn't going anywhere. Offense is on fire (even in loses). Defense is amazing (he'll even Hayes was in a punishing mood when he crushed the hearts of Red Sox fans when he went all WWE on a poor beach beach ball, then make an amazing diving catch). Starting pitching shows flashes of brilliance (Grayson is your 2024 No. 1 by the way) and is solid other times.
Obviously the only question mark will be the bullpen, specifically the back end. If Batista is not able to return for this postseason (Word is it is a partial UCL tear. Players have pitched with it before), what are their options? Fuji scares me, Cano seems to be leaning toward an overworked position. Perez has shown signs of returning to his 2022 form. And the others, well in the non-Mountain scenario someone will need to step up. But Damn, this team is fun to watch! Get out and see these guys!

And how about the Minnesota Twins

Bullpen issues exist a bit, but not with Duran, of course unless you ask my Dad who thinks Baldelli is putting him in too many non-save situations. By the way, have you seen his walk up entrance? (It is en fuego literally!)
