The Little Ball of Hates take on the Revens blowout. Well that was surprising! Ravens 38-6 agains the rising Lions, one of the best teams in the NFC?
What does this mean? Well, the Lions are obviously not one of the best teams, that's for sure.
Lamar connects back with Andrews for two TDS.
Ravens Offense: Boom Goes the Dynamite!
That was an explosion right off the start. The Ravens scored touchdowns on their first five possessions. It was like Lamar and the offense could do anything they wanted. Long passes, screens, running to the right, up the middle, to the right.
It was what every Ravens fan has been waiting for, especially with the revamped offense and new Offensive Coordinator. The offense was clicking on every level. They gained 503 total yards, 9.1 yards per play, 0 sacks and no interceptions.
Lamar was on point, throwing for 357 yards, 21-27 and 3 TDs. He also ran for 1 TD.
One of the Ravens' 5 sacks of Goff on Sunday.
Defense sofficiating again
The Ravens defense just keeps dominating. It doesn't seem to matter who they play, even the vanted Lions offense with Jared Goff. Before the game, the Lions had scored 21 or more points in 15 straight games. They have averaged 259.5 yards passing per game including today's game. This offense was humming before this game.
Although Goff did throw for 284 yards on 33-53 pass attempts, he ended with 0 TDs and 1 Int. And 5 sacks. Most of his numbers were during garbage time in the second half.
So the conclusions
The Ravens definitely jump back into the conversation as one of the best teams in the AFC
But the Ravens are not as good as they look and the Lions are not nearly as bad as they looked Sunday.
It is clear though that when the Ravens put it all together, they are a Super Bowl favorite!
