Little Ball of the Hate wonders if next week is a battle for Bowl Eligibility between Nebraska and Maryland...and are the Ravens the best team in the NFL?
Noon Saturday: Typical Nebraska game, lost chance at 6th win
Despite the fact that Sparty is garbage, NU could not overcome their own mistakes.
Wishing our offense would get their heads out of their asses.
Yep another turnover for Haarberg. It's getting old right?
Husker offense 😴 to watch
Hard to believe NU has five wins with as many turnovers as the Huskers have given up. Three more turnovers. Ten interceptions for the season.
Sad to say, Nebraska had a chance to control our destiny in the Wedt Division, and blew it.
Nebraska defense dominates again!
And here's a broken record. You can not run against this defense. Another game holding an opponent to under 60 yards rushing.
How is it possible to have one of the best defenses in the Big Ten and one of the most pathetic offenses. And despite that, we are still an average overall team in the West Division.
Oh, and the color guy for the game loved to blame Sparty rather than give any credit to Nebraska.
A bowl eligible season is starting to slip away for the Terps.
My son predicted the Penn State-Maryland Outcome...a blowout
I thought Maryland was guaranteed a bowl game after their start to the season, but now it will be interesting. Going to come down to the Nebraska game or the final game against Rutgers.
Taulia Tagovailoa had a decent game 29-39 for 286 yards 2 TDs. Just too much Penn State on every level.
Maryland in the East Division still has not proven to be in that top echelon of Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State.
My son left the game at half, tells you all you need to know.
Would not be surprised if Jason Bean is playing in the NFL in some capacity next year.
Kansas keeps rolling, good win on the road at Iowa State
When Kansas' offense is rolling the Jayhawks are scary!
With the win KU stays in the running for the Big 12 championship game.
Jason Bean is the man!
Jason Bean was not supposed to be the QB this year. In fact, he came back for his sixth year to be a back up, which was a surprise. Jalon Daniels was named the Big 12 preseason player of the year. He has played in only three games this season.
All Bean has done is: throw for 1,418 yards, 10/4 TD/Ints, rush for 1,218 yards, 5.1 yards per rush, 12 TDs.
Oh and all he does is win! He's won nine games in the last two years so far.
After watching the Iowa State game, I'm going to say something that might sound crazy. I saw passes from Bean that looked like Sunday afternoon passes. Great arm strength and accuracy.
Upcoming schedule, should finish at least 2-1
Texas Tech, Kansas State, Cincinnati: I see 2 wins at least and would love to see a beat down of Kansas State at home.
Sadly if the Jayhawks could have pulled out the win vs. Oklahoma State last month they would have had the inside track into the Championship game.
Little Ball of Hate's Rant on Football Commentary
Ok, I'm not going to say I could do better than these idiot talking heads in the booth. Actually I am going to say that. A couple of annoying sayings I hate:
They love to talk about being on schedule: “Kansas’ offense would like to be in situations less than 6 yards on third down.” Well, what offense likes to be in the 3rd and long situations? Dumbass!
Iowa state is close on fourth down. “Thats why they call football a game of inches” No shit Sherlock.
Ravens now have to be one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl
After watching the Ravens destroy the Seahawks 37-3, take care of business in Arizona and best the Lions 38-6. I haven't seen a better team so far in the NFL this season. That includes the Chiefs, the Eagles, the Bengals, etc.
If the AFC title game goes through Baltimore, the Ravens will be in the Super Bowl.
Who is this Mitchell guy? RB Keaton Mitchell is an undrafted free argent signed this year to the Ravrns scout team this season. All he did was rush for 135 yards on 9 carries and a TD. He only averaged 15.3 yards per carry. Talk about the help the Ravens desperately needed to help at the running back position after all of the injuries.
