He remembers covering a double-OT loss for the Jayhawks in Stillwater for the Kansan. I think it was the first tough loss for freshman Jacque Vaughn in his basketball career and he took it hard.

Quick timeout for OSU. Furphy running the floor off of a turnover and a defensive rebound. Furphy giving good minutes to start the game. Furphy on the boards and from three-point land. With 8:32 left in the half he already had 10 points and 2 offensive rebounds.

Halftime score 48-33, KU looking very good. If you had Furphy leading the team in scoring at half on your bingo sheet, you automatically win. KU hitting 67.7% from the field and 57.1% from the three-point line. Incredible. Only 5 turnovers looks good as well.
Second-half thoughts
Those shooting stats will not continue all game, so the Jayhawks need to keep the defensive pressure on and take care of the ball.
McCullar has been able to create his own shot so much better this year. That will be so valuable in March.
Always good to see Dickinson and Adams on the bench for the last 5 minutes of the game.
