College football is back!
Little Ball of Hate’s Thoughts on the first real weekend of college football.

Biggest homer call in history happened in the Big House
Of course we have to start with the big screw job by Michigan and the Big Ten officials in the robbing of Western Michigan upset bid. Where did that one second come from? Obviously the Big Ten didn’t want another conference school to lose to a MAC school, especially after Rutgers paid $1 million to lose to UMass.
And the explanation sounded like listening to Trump explain where he was on 9/11. There are two clocks? One on the field and another on the scoreboard? What?
Bottom line a crock! Pure robbery. I’m glad the MAC is protesting it.

Huskers win, I guess
NU win over Ohio. Obviously they should beat Ohio, that being said I was impressed that the recovered after being down 7-0 early. Jamal Rule looks like he is the new No. 1 RB. 15 carries, 122 yards, 2 TDs, averaging 8.1 per carry. Not to shabby.
Again yes this should be expected, but I have seen this school blow games they should win in the last 10-20 years. I was at Georgia Southern for Christ’s sakes.
I thought QB Anthony Colandrea looked pretty good. As my friend Jon Sindt said, it was amazing to see a QB drop back see nothing open and actually run for a first down. Dylan Raiola never did that, or if he did he would slide short of the first down.

The most heated rivalry in college sports
And now for the big one. This Friday night Missouri comes to Lawrence. I hope that stadium is rocking. It’s no secret how much the Little Ball of Hate hates Misery.
If you want a brief history on why this rivalry is so heated, you have to go back to the Civil War, watch this: https://youtu.be/g228SBJZkBM?is=wQblwmauK6gNHDIX
Missouri is favored by 5.5, which is fair but we will see. Not much to take away from both teams’ first game. Missouri beat Arkansas-Pine Bluff 54-14 and Kansas beat Long Island University 51-6. I do know it is a Friday night game, so the students will be rowdy and loud, so bring it on!
Season predictions for Missouri is Most Missouri football fans and analysts predict a 7-5 or 8-4 regular-season record
